Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing Qualification consists of 15 units of competency:

  • 9 core units
  • 6 elective units, including 3 units for the Ageing Specialisation

The Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing course is delivered in a classroom-based format, two days per week.

Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing Course duration depends on the individual student and when they have successfully completed all their assessments.

Resource Fee: $100.74

The student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances during enrolment. Additional fees may apply, such as resource fees and other fees.

  • Be unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week in any industry;
  • an Australian citizen;
  • permanent visa holder, or
  • holder of a subclass 300, 309, 444, 445, 461, 785, 790, or 820 visa;
  • secondary holder of a temporary visa of sub-class 188, 457, 482, 489, 491, or 494;
  • holder of a Bridging Visa E (subclasses 050 and 051) where the visa holder has made a valid application for a visa of subclass 785 or 790;
  • holders of a visa subclass 449 or 786;
  • Afghan citizens who are holders of a visa subclass 449, and
  • holders of a bridging visa who are eligible to work and who have made a valid application for a subclass 866.
