Lisa Lee

I have been in the Aged care industry for 15 years as a Carer/Coordinator of an Aged Care facility and also started up and coordinated an extremely successful Leisure Based day centre.  For the past 3 years I have been a Trainer and Assessor.

I have really enjoyed being a carer for our elderly residents and being able to help them to do the every day tasks that we all take for granted.  If I wasn’t there maybe they wouldn’t have had a shower that day or even eaten a decent meal.  It is truly a rewarding job.

Now my passion is training others who want to look after our elderly and to pass on my stories and knowledge to them.  This way they too can learn from my experience and put into practice what they have learnt.

One day we are all going to need some help and my wish is to have people out there in the workforce who want to be there and want to look after our older generation.

Aside from my passion for elderly people is my passion for my grandchildren.  I have 3 wonderful grandchildren who I spend every available minute with having sleepovers, taking them swimming and weekends away, knowing that one day they will grow up and not want to hang out with Gran Gran as often as they do now.
