TAE50116 & TAE50216 Dual Diploma

At Skills Strategies International, we have been delivering the dual diploma to a mixed group of professionals from the public sector, private sector, schools and other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

Learner feedback has been overwhelmingly positive as the dual diploma has a strong focus on learning rather than compliance and the content delivered aligns with participants’ job roles. This consolidates the learning and allows learners to apply the learning immediately in the workplace. Some examples are:

  • Training needs analysis of the current workplace
  • Development of a cost effective development plan
  • Cooperative design and development of learning strategies
  • Proactive support of LLN challenges in the workplace
  • In-course evaluation of existing assessment processes
  • Evaluation of the training programs refocused on the benefits for the trainer and the business

There are many reasons why the dual qualification is successful but the overall consensus is that “Higher is Better”. The Diploma level qualification is a workplace relevant course that prepares learners for their Vocational roles whereas the Certificate IV level qualification lacks the connection to workplace implementation.
