This course is designed for individuals in roles that carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills. They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
This qualification consists of 12 units of competency:

Completion of this qualification depends on each individual student, including their availability and previous experience.
Regular submission of assessments is a requirement of this course. A training and assessment schedule will be discussed with you and provided by your Trainer/Assessor.
This course is half price under the Jobs and Skills WA Lower Fees, Local Skills initiative. Fees are capped for Western Australian residents at $1,200 and $400 if you’re aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession. Fees apply for non-eligible students.

$400 annual concession rate (plus any resource fees) applies to:
♦ Persons aged 15—24 years at the time of enrolment (excluding students enrolled at school)
♦ Persons and dependents of persons receiving JobKeeper payment
♦ Persons and dependents of persons in receipt of services from one of the following Commonwealth support or employment services programs:
– Online Employment Services
♦ Persons and dependents of persons receiving the Youth Allowance, AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY
♦ Persons and dependents of persons holding:
– a pensioner concession card or Health Care Card; or
– a Repatriation Health Benefits Card issued by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs
♦ Dependents of persons who are inmates of a custodial institution
$1,200 annual non-concession rate (plus any resource fees) applies to all other WA residents.
There are no formal requirements however it is strongly recommended that you have current employment or access to a workplace to complete assessments.
